Transforming Minds Psychology provides a range of evidence based services tailored to your needs.

- Depression;
- Mood Disorders;

- Relationship Difficulties;
- Child and Adolescent Services (including behavioural);
- Assessments.
Referrals and Consultations
GP Referrals are not necessary to see a Psychologist, however, if you would like to claim Medicare rebates it would be required.
Consultations typically go for 50-60 minutes. Couple sessions are also 50-60 minutes with an option to proceed to 90 minutes if required. It should be noted that couples sessions are not covered under Medicare however, some private health insurers may cover part of this cost.

Medicare
Medicare rebates are available for 10 sessions per calendar year. This is available for clients who are referred by a GP and have a current Mental Health Care Plan. The rebate will be processed via Medicare once the full session fee is paid.

Fees
Transforming Minds Psychology charges a fee which is payable at the time of consultation. This can be done via a credit card/debit card payment. For alternate payment requirements please enquire via email or phone.
Transforming Minds Psychology provides invoices for clients who would like to claim Psychology Services under their Private Health Insurance. Please check with your provider to ensure Psychology Services are under your current cover.
Cancellation Policy
Transforming Minds Psychology requires 48 hours notice for appointment cancellations and changes.
A cancellation fee will be charged if cancellations occur within the 24 hour period. We understand that emergencies happen and we will make acceptions for these circumstances however, it would be great if you could let us know as soon as possible regarding any changes to your appointment.
It should be noted that there are no Medicare rebates for cancellation fees.
